Swinburne Prom Night 2007 (Performances)

Many swinburne student have take part in the performances of Swinburne Prom Night 2007 - Frozen In Time. There are overall 10 performances, 9 are from swinburne students and 1 is the guest performance which is the Shuffle Performance from Hazard Minorz. For the 9 swinburne performances, they are competing for the best performance prize which allow them to win a RM300 cash prize.

Below is the performaces photo of that night.

On that night, Farah who sang the song "Tiada Lagi - Mayang Sari" won the Best Performance but the other 8 performances are also getting the consolation prize. And a special thanks for our guest performance - Hazard Minor. Everyone are doing a great job on that night and that makes the Swinburne Night 2007 a memorable night.

Swinburne Prom Night 2007 (Decoration)

Swinburne Prom Night 2007 was successfully held on 26th October 2007. With special thanks to Les Paul, Planet Balloons and The Banquet, the decoration of the night was really amazing, and it really matched with the theme of the night which is "Frozen in Time". In case I forget later, we have to thank all the student council members who have really put in efforts to make this event a grand success. And now, the feed back from The Banquet, this event is the most wonderful event which had first ever been held in The Banquet since this restaurant was opened.

Hong Kong Noodles House

OMG!!! I keep on eating duck in this month. Bo pien, Hong Kong Noodles House got promotion, 1 whole roasted duck for only RM25!!! I guess I already been there for 3 or 4 times in this month just because of the duck.

*RM25 only for this whole duck ,look so delicious~

*Hmm.. say goodbye to the dUCk!!

*Ah Q so concentrate in eating his noodle and ducK~~

*Don't bother me!!! =p~~

For those who like to eat duck, I suggest that you should go try the roasted duck promotion at Hong Kong Noodle House before the promotion end. But now, duck is enough for me already, I would like to go Country Court to try the roasted chicken, 1 whole roasted chicken for only Rm12.80~~

Swinburne Prom Night is coming!!! *Updated

Every Swinburne Student, please be alert!!! It's almost end of the 2nd semester, and the largest event (Prom Night) of swinburne are coming~~~ The prom night will be organized by Swinburne Sarawak Student Council.

The poster is designed by Jin Tai, one of the council member. And the ticket is designed by me, believe it or not?

This is the first ticket designed but after print out, we get feed back from many student that this ticket is not nice, and because of the printing quality which make it even worst. So, I come out with another design and everyone agree to change it to the second design.

My Saturday (6th OCtober 2007)!!!

Last Saturday, after the meeting regarding Swinburne Prom Night 2007. Me, Roy, Eko, Ah Q, Gabby are going to "The Banquet" to decide how are we going to do our decoration for the night. Vincent and his girlfriend, Wen Shi are following us also. But unfortunately, we can't decide too much because the person in charge is not free, and she is making an appointment with us on Monday. So, we have to go back on Monday again.

We taking all this picture so that we can do some planning first~~

Actually we have our own concept already, we just need to find some company to construct it. If who know where to find this kind of contractor, please let me know ASAP, thanks!! After leaving from Banquet, we proceed to our next destination which are bridal shop and florist to survey some accessories. Besides that, we also sun bian go bridal shop to survey tuxedo and dress, and me and my friend are planning to rent tux for that night. We went to Alex Bridal, Abell Bridal, Prince Bridal. But most of the shop just have 1 or 2 tux to rent only. And the price is quite high also. So, if who know got any shop, please introduce to me also, thanks again~~

*This dress cost about RM2000+, and the rental fees is about RM700 - RM800, SWT~~

After Bridal shop, we went to PSDC florist, just saw some branches which suit our design. May be will go back there to buy it. Next, we went to Green Gallery, and we also found some accessories which suit our design. But all the price are too expensive. Because we can't do anything yet, so we start zuo wu zuo bo at Green Gallery~~

Before we leave BDC, we drop by Tux and Suit to survey the tuxedo. But unfortunately, they didn't provide renting service. So, we just go back to Swinburne, on the way, we all drop by the animal shop at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee because Roy said he want to see doggie~~ After that we baru really back to Swinburne.
